Score!

Saturday was SO AWESOME!  For multiple reasons.  But there was a landmark success Saturday afternoon.

I tried a run of sorts.  I did a pyramid of walk/run combos.  I did it based on minutes: 4W/1R, 3W/2R, 2W/3R, 1W/4R, 2W/3R, 3W/2R, 4W/1R.  I really pushed the running parts hard too.  My distance wasn't spectacular and my time wasn't great, but something else wonderful happened.  I had ZERO pain in my shoulders or neck!  YAY!

Happy day!  No pain while running!  I did do a lot of shoulder rolls during the first few walking sets.  But damn it felt awesome. 

My swim on Thursday sucked big time.  Doc told me to make sure I swim on Saturday to redeem myself.  I planned on that anyhow.  Saturday morning's swim was awesome too, BTW.  Great swim and pain-free run made for a GREAT DAY!

Then I went to see Nuclear Cowboyz with my boyfriend Saturday which felt like a cherry on top.  :)
