My sister-in-law bought me and my boyfriend a Sodastream for Christmas (2012). I have no clue where she thought of that idea. I've never really given it much thought much less ever talked about it. I heard the commercials on WSB Talk radio (95.5FM in Atlanta) and it was being endorsed by Sean Hannity and many of the news/traffic reporters at the station. I figured it was a bunch of hype and nothing more.
I just opened the box to our new Sodastream last night. I was coming home from a vocals practice (with the band I just joined) and I was craving orange soda so freakin' bad. Instead of stopping at the store, I decided to break out the machine.
SUPER EASY TO OPERATE!!
So I made some orange soda and I am rather impressed! It does have a weird aftertaste, but it's ever so slight.
So on a whim I went to the Sodastream website. I figured there had to be interesting drink recipes that can be done with this thing. I was actually surprised when I saw that the Sodastream website had drink recipes! There are a few I would love to try: Ginger Chai Refresher, Margarita Fizz, Berry Dream, and more.
And I haven't even done a generic search on the web. I'm sure there are blogs and websites that share all sorts of homemade creations!
