Races for this year....

So in February I signed up for a slew of races.  Lol.  I'm doing the Cartersville Duathlon on April 15, Peachtree City Super Sprint Triathlon on May 19, and the PT Solutions Acworth Women's Triathlon in August.  I'm planning on signing up for a triathlon that is in the Blue Ridge Mountains in July.

So I have a goal, now time for a plan.  Big step is to find a swim coach.  Lol.  I spent quite a bit of time at the pool last year and I always struggled and did worse at the events.  Second step is to improve my post-cycle running pace.  The third step is to practice the transitions enough so that I can fly in and fly out of them.  Cycling will improve as I grow stronger and as my fitness improves.

The duathlon in April is great for testing my fitness and for checking in with my post-cycling running pace.  :)  The duathlon is 5K run, 13 mile bike, & 5K run.  It will take me longer to complete that event than any of the triathlons I'm doing this year.  That makes it a good event to kickstart my ass.  :)
